To stage, or not to stage

To stage or not to stage….

We have been asked whether it is important to stage a home when putting it on the market or just to leave the home vacant. Our team believes 100% that staging your home is the best way for you to obtain the highest sales price, but only if the staging is done properly. We have the best stager in the business who will use her own furniture (or a combination of yours and hers) to accent what the home offers.

Here are a few reasons why we believe in staging with the proper stager:

- Shows all prospective buyers how the house feels with furniture
- Doesn’t feel like an open void, leaving buyers questioning where their furniture would go
- Shows better in online pictures, where the majority of people will first see your home
- The stager, a 3rd party who doesn’t have emotional ties to the home, will provide thoughts on how to best stage the home so that it accents the features of the home, not the furniture
- Sound Team Realty pays for staging!

In 2019, Sound Team Realty made the decision to pay for staging so that our seller clients could receive the highest sales price for their home. You will see from the photos the difference between staged and non-staged homes.
